The After School clubs are great fun and good value. We try to keep them as varied as possible for the regular children, but easy and accessible enough for any new comers! Here is what you might expect from a typical class.






after school knitting classes

Teddy Bears, scarves, flower corsages, pompoms, knitted tin of baked beans…..at Purl's after school craft and knitting classes children learn new skills from basic knitting stitches, how to follow a pattern, to creating their own designs. Knitting with yarn and other materials like raffia or wire children are encouraged to experiment with different materials. Children can take all things knitted home with them. Classes are held through term time and throughout the holidays. See schedule for details.








after school art classes

The emphasis of the classes is on playful creativity-focused but fun. The children are encouraged to explore their own ideas around a different theme each week. Ideas can develop though drawing, painting and making, sometimes we doodle, create a sculpture or tell a story.

after school sewing classes

The children will learn to master basic sewing skills whilst creating their own creatures.
